I've happily been posting pictures of my kids on Facebook since my eldest was born 8 years ago. I might only post a couple of pics a month but I take great pleasure in it. Relatives like it, it's a nice thing to share with schoolfriends - who immediately notice family resemblences - and it keeps me connected with other parents. But now I read that 'sharenting' is a bad thing to do, that my kids will not thank me for it when they are older and it may even affect their life insurance. The whole thing feels like another stick to beat parents with - am I wrong?
