Viv Lamb, Oakham School:

"Being a member of Digital School helps us to train both staff and parents so that they can make the most of technology in a way that is also safe.  As adults we are all aware of the need to model ‘best practice’ but that takes a conscious effort and feels a little awkward, but we have found the materials produced hit just the right note to keep us all on track without feeling patronised or stupid.  For example, the timing that much of the material is released has proved to be spot on – the guidance on Minecraft came just as parents were starting to ask questions. Having trained facilitators with access to up to date material helps us to feel we are 'on top' of the latest developments."
