Lorraine Kelly: Confident Me workshops 'vital' for boosting pupils' self-esteem
‘I think it’s good for them to take a moment and actually think about self-esteem and the impact it's having on their lives, in an enjoyable atmosphere.’
Lorraine Kelly has been working with the Dove Self-Esteem Project to deliver its PSHE Association-accredited workshop in schools.
She recently presented the 45-minute Confident Me workshop to pupils and here, she talks about how children are constantly bombarded with images in the media and how important it is for young people to take a moment to think about the effect this is having on their self-esteem and their lives.
