Digital Families 2019: More info

What is Digital Families 2019?

The annual Digital Families conference is produced by Parent Zone and NCA-CEOP. Our unique programme is curated to include the latest research and expert insight along with a marketplace of resources, all designed to help professionals understand the latest opportunities and challenges of the connected world, and to prepare to help families through emerging trends.

What will happen on the day?

Clinical psychologist Professor Tanya Byron will open the conference with a keynote speech reflecting on the ways in which the online safety debate has evolved since she led the Byron Review a decade ago — and the next steps to securing a bright future for our children.

You'll hear from leading online safety experts, mental health specialists, and digital resilience and wellbeing leaders in a superbly curated line-up. Key speakers include world-renowned experts Lord Jim Knight, Professor Sonia Livingstone, Dr Alicia Blum-Ross, and Professor Victoria Nash

You will also be able to participate in workshops exploring emerging issues such as gaming, screen time, self-esteem and harmful sexual behaviours.

The day has been designed to ensure plenty of fresh insights, as well as opportunities to make connections and contribute to the key debates shaping our children's future.
