How long will the Parenting in the Digital Age course take to complete?

It takes around 20 minutes to complete all four modules of the online safety course for parents. 

 

Can I take the parenting course more than once?

Yes, once registered, you can access the course as many times as you like.

 

My friend would like to take the course but she hasn't been given a code. Can she still access it?

Yes, individuals can purchase the course for £6.99+VAT. Find out more HERE.

 

What help can I get from the Parent Helpline?

Our Parent Helpline is here to answer any questions you have regarding keeping your child safer online, building your child's online resilience. See the box at the top of the page for details of how to contact us.

 

How do I keep my child safe online?

Parent Zone has been helping children stay safer online for over a decade and our experience tells us that knowledge is the best weapon you have in helping your child to enjoy the opportunities of the internet age.

We create expert resources to give you the information to help your children be aware of the risks they may come across online, know what to do if anything upsets or harms them, and advice to support your child so that if anything bad does happen, they can bounce back and continue to enjoy the benefits of the online world.

What is digital resilience?

Digital resilience, also known as online resilience, is the ability to understand when you are at risk online, know what to do if anything goes wrong, and learn from your experiences of being online, allowing you to recover from any difficulties or upsets.

Our forum is an area for people who work with families, including teachers, social workers and police officers, to ask questions, offer advice or chat to fellow professionals. We don't currently have a parents' forum, but you can talk to us and fellow parents on our Facebook page HERE.
