Get ready for Safer Internet Day with Parent Zone

This year’s event focuses on how to protect yourself and others from online scams.

To support your work children, young people and parents, we have a range of free programme resources to share and join.

Everyday Digital

Our Everyday Digital programme helps parents build skills and habits to be aware of risks and to think critically about manipulative and untrustworthy content.

Be Internet Legends

We’ll also be hosting an assembly on Tuesday 11 February at 9:30am with Be Internet Legends by Google.

Last year, our Safer Internet Day assembly trained over 150,000 children – and we’re excited to see many new faces for 2025.

The assembly is free for all UK primary schools to join and it has five challenges for children to take on – helping them learn to be safer, more confident online explorers. Pupils will learn to spot untrustworthy content, tools to protect data and privacy, and how to seek help from trusted adults.

Schools can even invite parents to watch along at home via the 30-minute YouTube stream.
