Find Your Balance Competition
Google and Parent Zone are launching an art and written word competition – with the chance to win a trip to Westminster.
We’re looking for children and young people to explain in words or pictures what they would like the internet of the future to be like.
Win a trip to Westminster
The competition is open to young people aged 5 to 15 and the top 50 entries will feature in a special event at the Houses of Parliament – with a winner chosen from four age categories.
The aim of the competition is to help families think and have conversations about their digital lives. These conversations can open the door to an ongoing discussion at home and be the inspiration for their competition entry.
Work in a school?
This competition provides an opportunity to engage students in how legislation impacts everyday lives. You can encourage participation by sharing this flyer which includes information about how to get involved.
Find Your Balance 2021
In 2021, the Find your Balance art competition asked families to think about online wellbeing and draw what balance means to each child. The winners were able to see their pictures displayed in the House of Parliament in London.
