Ollee is a digital friend for children aged 8-11, created by Parent Zone and BBC Children in Need.

We’re running a #SummerOlleeDay competition for children to design a new friend for Ollee. 

We’re looking for a new character to share Ollee’s world. Your child can win the chance to see their design turned into a real-life Ollee design by our Ollee creators – and get a framed print of this new character design to keep!

Who can enter

The promotion is open to all UK citizens. All entries must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian, aged 18 years or older. 

The competition is not open to Parent Zone’s employees or contractors and anyone connected with the promotion or their direct family members.

Closing date

The closing date for submissions is 23:59 on Monday 22 August 2022. 

Judging panel

The winning entries will be chosen by a panel of judges, consisting of representatives of Parent Zone. The judging panel’s decision is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into.

Prize

One national winner will be selected from entrants to have their ‘Friend for Ollee’ turned into a professionally-created design. A winner will receive a framed print of their winning design.  

Rules of entry

By entering the promotion, the participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Entrants should enter by following the method described on the competition promotion. Entries received after the closing date of the promotion will not be considered.

The winning entrant will be contacted via email or social media, depending on their method of entry. Please include your child’s first name and age as part of the entry. Parent Zone will use entrants’ personal details in accordance with the Parent Zone Data Protection and Privacy Policy. 

Parent Zone reserves the right to request proof of age for all child entries. Only one entry will be permitted per child.  

Promotion

By entering, you agree for the submitted artwork and your child's first name and age to be used on display on the Parent Zone website as part of a gallery and also on Parent Zone social channels. Please be aware that if any entry features personal of identifying information, we may need to blur the image before publication.

Prize winner

The winner will be notified within 10 days of the close of the promotion by email. If the winner cannot be contacted, or fail to respond within 10 days of such notification being sent, Parent Zone reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner-up.

No alternative prize will be offered. There is no cash alternative and the prize will not be transferable. The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. 

Parent Zone reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.

Parent Zone does not accept any responsibility for lost, delayed or fraudulent entries.

Parent Zone excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the promotion or occurring to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of a prize.

The promotion is subject to the laws of England.
