Free AI training and resources for UK schools
A new report by the AI in Education working group suggests that schools are “crying out” for guidance from the government on AI.
It pinpointed the need for a national framework for AI adoption in education in England, including teacher training, to help schools develop "AI strategies" by September 2027.

Experience AI – secondary schools

LEA is Google’s AI education empowerment programme. It trains teachers to use AI tools effectively to support productivity and planning, as well as teach children AI literacy to advance their own education. In 45 minutes, teachers will learn to:
- Refine lesson plans efficiently
- Make activities more engaging
- Support independent learning
Training dates include 6 October (London) and 24 November (virtual).
Be Internet Legends – primary schools
A live national AI assembly from Be Internet Legends on 15 October will teach children to recognise and understand AI.
It will explain what AI is – and help children understand the differences between human and artificial intelligence. The assembly also explores ways AI can be used positively – and outlines how AI can hallucinate based on the data it has.
There will be more exciting news around AI within the Be Internet curriculum announced during the event.
