AI is coming to every school. Are your staff ready?
The government has set out a major new plan for AI, and schools are part of it. In a package worth more than £600 million, announced in October's Budget, the Chancellor said AI will transform daily life, and that “every firm, community, hospital, school, and every aspect of our economy can benefit.”
The plan includes £30 million for local partnerships to help give workers AI skills, and a new AI Centre of Excellence in Manchester to develop the next generation of talent.
The new government investment shows that AI skills are becoming a national priority. Schools that build staff confidence now will be ready to help pupils make the most of AI, and to recognise its risks.
The message is clear: the children in classrooms today will grow up in a world shaped by AI. To prepare them, teachers need the confidence to understand it, teach it and use it well.
That’s where we can help. We deliver free, expert AI training to UK schools, face to face and virtually.
